The lowest average nominal salaries in August 2021 were recorded in the temporary accommodation and catering sector - UAH 9,788 (up 57.3% from August 2020), in the education sector - UAH 10,473 (up 27.4%) in the healthcare and social assistance sector - UAH 10,898 (up 28.4%).Īs reported, according to the State Statistics Service, the average nominal salary in Ukraine in August 2020 was UAH 11,446, which is up 8.6% from August 2019. The highest average nominal salaries in August 2021 were recorded in the information and telecommunications sector - UAH 24,813 (up 25.1% from August 2020), in the financial and insurance sector – UAH 23,537 (up 19.5%), in the public administration and defense, and compulsory social insurance - UAH 21,207 (up 26.2%). As experts from RIA Rating point out, in reality, an average Russian worker can earn anywhere from 17,000 to 44,000 rubles (264-684) a. Compared to July 2021, the average nominal salary decreased by 2.4%, and grew by 22.3% over the last 12 months (compared to August 2020). At the same time, average numbers are also only average.
